This exhibition has been a journey of transformation. Shedding is a metaphor for peeling away layers: the doubts, the “shoulds,” the expectations of what I thought I had to create, and instead allowing myself to create from joy, from intuition, from what feels alive in the moment.
Through this process, I gave myself permission to play with new materials and formats I had never tried before, to experiment, to take risks. It wasn’t about what I “should” present, but about what brings me pleasure, curiosity, and truth. What has moved me most is seeing how many of you connected with the work, how many conversations emerged, and how you interacted with the pieces. That was my deepest wish: to erase the distance between artwork, artist, and audience, and to create a space that invited touch, closeness, and presence.

Aida Labrin Ladron invited Haufen to collaborate on this exhibition, creating wearable art and launching Haufen’s first latex drop. This project marked a turning point and laid the foundation for what Haufen is today: a laboratory for crafting unique garments from a living material—plant based latex.
Cocoon

This shoot is the first in a series developed by Francisco Ramos together with Haufen, focusing on the body as a medium. Here, they create shapes that emerge from the skin rather than being imposed upon it, giving rise to a universe of involution toward the essential: organisms that mutate from the density of a territory to the glow of matter. this series stil developing.
